Children and adolescents, who love basketball, can develop their talent in child’s-adolescent’s school of LUKOIL Academic. Approximately about eighty scholars are training basketball in different ages. They practice in the Academic Hall, where the men’s club of LUKOIL Academic trains as well.
LUKOIL Academic basketball school rose the talented players such as Chavdar Kostov, Kalin Hristov, Dimitar Phillipov, Dimitar Marincheshki, Jivko Stoyanov, Yovcho Atanasov, Planimir Dafinov, Ivan and Liubomir Lilovi, etc. Most of them are part of the national teams in different ages. The scholars of LUKOIL Academic are trained by coaches Yordan Kolev, Svetla Gavazova, Boyana Mitreva and Yavor Asparuhov. The children and adolescents are divided into five groups depending on their ages: babies (up to 10 year olds), mini (up to 12 year olds), boys (up to 14 year olds), cadets (up to 16 year olds) and adolescents/juniors (up to 18 year olds).
